Description

Partition with switch foil at Neele-Vat in Pernis, The Netherlands.

Switch foil

With a switch foil it is possible to make transparent glass panels, which you can normally see through, opaque at the touch of a button. The film works on electricity and can be operated with a switch or remote controls. In neutral mode, with power switched off, the foil is transparent. When switched on, the foil turns white and one can no longer see through it. However, the foil still allows light to pass through.

A switch foil can be applied to almost any glass wall. However, one must take into account provisions for the wiring.
