iQ PROTECT Fire Hightech
In the stairwell of Marga Klompé Building in Tilburg, QbiQ installed an EI30 fire-resistant glass wall on a parapet.(left and right side of the door) The fire resistant wall is the type iQ PROTECT Fire Hightech and features 16mm fire resistant glass with EI30 classification.
The glass panels are interconnected with a sealant joint only 5mm wide. vertical uprights are not needed here, thus achieving optimal transparency.
Door unit
The door unit including the two connecting glass panels are made of Forster profiles equipped with EW30 glazing.
The profiles are coated with RAL9016 Traffic White.
