Description
Bureau Kroner location Binckhorstlaan The Hague.
In the middle of the large workspace at the Binckhorstlaan location in The Hague, a fully glazed office was situated as a conversation room. The office is constructed from glass panels so that the light in the room and in the office is hardly interrupted.
This double glass system wall is a QbiQ iQ Structural of 100 mm thick and provided with 66a2 acoustic laminated glass elements. Such a structure has excellent sound insulation, keeping conversations in the office private and employees outside the office from being distracted.
Glass
The glass panels have a thickness of 12.76 mm and feature acoustic foil between the glass. This gives the glass improved sound insulation and minimizes sound transmission.
The glass panels are interconnected by means of a so-called 0-joint. This eliminates the need for a vertical upright, creating an all-glass wall.
Door unit
The door is a QbiQ KDD57D with aluminum frame has two laminated glass panels, each 8 mm thick. This door unit has double rubbers and a drop seal at the bottom that provide excellent sound insulation. The door is mounted in a corresponding door frame type DK100D which is suitable for doors with double rubbers.
90 degree angle
Laet on the corners of the glass office. The 90 degree corners are completely transparent glass. no aluminum parts are needed to make this right angle connection. The double glass panels are glued together resulting in a corner solution with optimal transparency.
Color
All aluminum profiles are coated in the color RAL7021 with a glass degree of 70%.
