Double glazed partitions at 'De Office' in Den Bosch, the Netherlands.

In this picture we see three different QbiQ system walls applied.

iQ Structural

In the foreground the iQ Structural. A full glass system wall with double glazing and fully transparent 0-joint. This  100mm thick wall is made up of coated aluminum profiles in the color RAL9016, traffic white with 6.6.a.2 glass of 12.76mm thick. The glass is equipped with an acoustic foil between two glass plates and ensures optimal noise reduction.

Door unit with KDD90F Wood

Right the corner around first a small piece of iQ Structural and then a door unit consisting of a DK100D door frame and a KDD90F. The aluminum frame has a thickness of 100mm and is therefore the same thickness as the wall. The aluminum frame door is equipped with two 8mm MDF panels with clear lacquered oak veneer and an acoustic insulation (Rw 41dB)

A Planet drop sill is mounted at the bottom of the door. This prevents sound transmission under the door. Door and frame are assembled with four stainless steel hinges.Both the door and the frame are coated in the color RAL9016.

The special feature of this combination is that both the door and the  frame have an equal thickness as the wall. Bitches they are equipped with the double stop with double rubbers then ensures high sound values and minimal sound transmission.

iQ PRO Melamine

Next to the door unit is the iQ PRO Melamine of 100mm thick. This wall is made up  of also coated aluminum profiles in the color RAL9016 and equipped with melamine panels on both sides with insulation material in between for good noise reduction. The melamine panels are tightly placed against each other with a so-called 0-joint.

iQ WOOD Structural

At the back left we see an iQ WOOD Structural. A high-quality double-glazed wooden system wall with aluminum core. By using 6.6.a.2 acoustically laminated double glazing, In has particularly high sound values. In this arrangement, round glass was chosen  at the corners.

33mm profile height

It is special to mention that the profile height of all these applied walls is identical. All walls have a profile height of 33mm all around in view. This allows different wall types to fit together seamlessly.
