High acoustic glass partitions  at Centre Ceramique Maastricht

The client's wish was to install a glass partition wall here with a very high sound insulation value of at least Rw 56 dB.

QbiQ developed and implemented a solution for this. The double glass wall consists of two different glass thicknesses. On one side, 10.10A2 glass was placed and on the other side 8.8A2. Both glass types are fitted with an acoustic foil.

By using different thicknesses of glass, the sound insulation value of the wall is measurably improved.

This high-quality partition is an iQ Structural 100 with U3324 and U3328 profiles and a separate cover profile in between.

The double doors (right in the picture) are type KDD90F and are equipped with 44A2 acoustic laminated glass and door closers.
