Corner detail of glass partitions with high acoustic values at Centre Ceramique Maastricht.

This glass partition is build with extraordinary high acoustic values. On one site of the glass partition is a music room located with a piano and at the other side is a library located.  In order not to disturb each other, noise requirements have been set for this glass wall. 

This iQ Structural is build with 8.8A2 glass on one side and 10.10A2 glass on the other side. This gives the partition a sound insulation value of EW56dB. The insulated cavity is fitted with a perforated glazing bar that provides extra sound dampening.
